Parents Day

Honoring both parents together, celebrating the partnership, teamwork, and shared love that creates and sustains families. Different from Mother's and Father's Days, this recognizes parental unity.

What Is Parents Day?

Parents Day, celebrated on the fourth Sunday of July (July 26 in 2026), was established in 1994 to recognize, uplift, and support the role of parents in raising children. Unlike Mother's Day and Father's Day which honor parents individually, this day celebrates them together as a parenting team.

The day acknowledges that raising children often requires partnership, cooperation, and shared sacrifice. It honors all family structures—traditional two-parent families, co-parents, blended families, and anyone sharing parenting responsibilities. It's about celebrating the teamwork that creates stable, loving homes for children.
