Small Business Saturday
Celebrating and supporting the small businesses that give our communities character, create jobs, and are built on passion and entrepreneurship. Shop small, impact big.
What Is Small Business Saturday?
Small Business Saturday, held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, was created in 2010 to encourage consumers to shop at small, local businesses. The day highlights the importance of small businesses to local economies, job creation, and community character. It is a counterbalance to big box retailers and online giants.
Small businesses are more than stores—they are dreams realized, risks taken, and communities strengthened. They sponsor Little League teams, donate to local causes, and create neighborhoods with personality. When you shop small, you support real people pursuing their passions, invest in your community, and help preserve what makes local areas unique and vibrant.
