Sweetest Day
A day dedicated to spreading kindness, showing appreciation, and celebrating the sweet people in your life. Everyone deserves to feel valued and loved.
What Is Sweetest Day?
Sweetest Day, celebrated on the third Saturday of October, originated in Cleveland in 1922 as a day to bring happiness to orphans, the elderly, and others who might feel forgotten. The tradition expanded to become a day for showing appreciation to everyone who makes life sweeter—friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, and loved ones.
Unlike Valentine's Day which focuses on romantic love, Sweetest Day celebrates all forms of kindness and appreciation. It is a reminder to acknowledge the people who make our days brighter through small acts of kindness, thoughtful gestures, and simply being wonderful humans we are grateful to know.
